This is dependent on whether your hair is naturally dark or dyed with years of dark
dyes. Also hair that is below the shoulders is at least four years old so may not sustain bleach if its had colour after colour and has heat damage. However if you have shorter hair this is going to be much easier to achieve. So if your desperate for a colour transformation as quick as possible then having a big style change might be a good idea too. As the hair is lifted from dark to light the hair will firstly kick out red tones, then orange and lastly gold. You should expect to go through these stages before achieving blonde hair but sometimes this is not even possible.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO DYE MY HAIR FROM DARK TO BLONDE?
Yes this is the same principles in reverse. Instead of lifting the red, orange, yellow tones you are going to have to add them to your hair so your colour will be a warm colour. You need to make sure your 100% sure before you take the plunge as it may not be a easy route back to blonde or be possible if you change your mind.

have blue eyes and generally wear a cool tone foundation then you are going to suit more ash tones. If you have green or brown eyes a warmer tone is usually more suitable. It is possible to be "neutral" tone client, this is someone who s skin tones and eye colour are opposite tones, e.g blue eyes and warm skin tones. These clients are often lucky enough to be able to carry off both warm and cool tone hair colours.
